Shipping Policy

General Shipping Policy:

  • Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with all order details.
  • Orders are usually dispatched within 2-5 business days, though processing times may extend during peak periods.
  • A shipping confirmation email with tracking information will be sent once your order is shipped.
  • Delivery costs will be calculated and added to your order total at checkout.
  • All orders are delivered by our courier partners and require a pin upon delivery.
  • Inspect your goods upon receipt and report any issues within 14 days of delivery to hello@uccopetliving.com.

International Shipping Policy (Deliveries outside South Africa):

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and added to your order total.
  • Standard international shipping typically takes 3-6 working days, while economy shipping can take 10-20 working days.
  • Shipping times are estimates and may vary due to external factors.
  • Shipping prices are quoted in ZAR and converted to your local currency.
  • Local taxes and duties are estimated at checkout but billed directly to you by the courier or postal service.
  • You are responsible for paying local import duties, taxes, and customs clearance charges.

Damaged Goods

  1. We will replace goods that are defective or do not comply with consumer protection laws.
  2. Defects must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
  3. Defective items must be returned to us if requested.
  4. If we agree on liability, we will cover the cost of return carriage and replace the items free of charge.

Goods Returned

  1. We do not accept returns unless the item is defective, or we have agreed to the return.
  2. Items must be returned within 7 days of discovering the defect.
  3. Items should be securely wrapped and in their original condition and packaging.
  4. Returns (other than for defective items) are at the customer’s own risk and cost.
  5. We recommend using a recorded delivery service for returns.
  6. Returns address is provided on the dispatch note with all orders.
  7. Perishable goods cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.

Promotion Codes

  1. Promotion codes may be sent to you via email if you have opted-in for product information.
  2. Promotion codes can be applied at checkout but have no monetary value and cannot be converted into currency.
  3. Promotion codes have expiry dates and may require a minimum spend.
  4. Only one promotion code can be used per order.

Refund Policy

  1. Contact our Customer Relations Team at care@uccopetliving.com for online purchases or return to the store for offline purchases.
  2. Include your order number, name, address, product details, and reason for return.
  3. All products and packaging must be returned in their original condition.
  4. Refunds, credit vouchers, or exchanges will be offered for products returned in resaleable condition.
  5. For returns due to a change of mind or unsuitable size, only the item value is refunded, not the delivery cost.
  6. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Incorrect Orders

  1. If you receive an incorrect order, we will replace it or give a full refund within 30 days.
  2. Contact us at care@uccopetliving.com with your order details and reason for return.

Cancellation of Order

  1. We may cancel or suspend orders due to causes beyond our control, offering refunds within 30 days.

Exclusions

  1. We do not accept returns of dirty, used, or custom-made items unless faulty.
  2. Colour discrepancies between online images and actual products are not grounds for returns.
  3. Refunds are made to the person who paid for the order.

Local Returns – Within South Africa:

  1. Goods can be returned directly to us by post or courier. Please ensure they are suitably packaged and obtain a proof of posting, as we cannot be held responsible for packages lost or damaged on return to us.
  2. Include your name, contact number, and order or invoice number.

International Returns – Outside South Africa:

  1. Instructions for international returns will be provided by our Customer Relations Team.
  2. We cannot refund shipping costs, foreign duties, taxes, or import charges.
  3. Shipping costs for new products dispatched as exchanges will be covered by the customer.
